
Team Member: Guest Services Attendant
Department: Golf Operations
Reports to: Golf Operations Manager and or Manager on Duty (MOD)
Works With: Assistant Golf Professional, Pro Shop Attendants, Golf Operations Team
While this outline attempts to be all encompassing, this position is expected to evolve beyond these categories. This role is expected to anticipate customer needs and make suggestions for improvement of the day-to-day operation on an ongoing basis. The role is expected to do anything and everything that will help the Golf Operations department accomplish its objectives.
GENERAL PURPOSE: Creates a positive experience by assisting guests and members with outside services.
EXPECTATIONS OF OUR TEAM MEMBER:

- To be able to inform members and guest of the resort amenities.
- Proactive communication skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Assists with the overall upkeep of the clubhouse, cart storage area and parking lot.
- Assists in the setup and execution of golf tournaments and outings.
- Provides sincere and courteous service to all guests with items such as bag handling and club cleaning.
- Maintains the cart staging area in a neat and orderly fashion, including the podium and bag drop area.
- Maintains the cart storage area and cart wash down area in a neat, clean, and orderly condition.
- Prepares golf carts for play following the standards of the club.
- Performs range maintenance such as: presenting practice facility with practice balls, bag stands, den caddies and/or ball pyramids, and maintains ball inventory over the course of the day.
- Cleans rental clubs upon return.
- Cleans golfer’s who have club storage clubs upon completion of play.
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Performs other duties as required.
COMPLETION OF SHIFT DUTIES:
- Check with the MOD to see if you can leave the course.
- Confirm that all necessary duties are complete with the MOD.
- Return radio to the charger along with all extra supplies.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Frequently stands, walks, uses hands, talks, or listens. Occasionally sits, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls or crouches. Regularly lifts 25 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.
ENVIRONMENT/NOISE: Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions including rain and or warm conditions, exposure to sunlight.
