
Team Member: Beverage Cart Attendant
Department: Golf Operations
Reports to: Canteen Manager
Works With: Golf Operations Manager, Assistant Golf Professional, Pro Shop Attendants, Golf Operations Team
While this outline attempts to be all encompassing, this position is expected to evolve beyond these categories. This role is expected to anticipate customer needs and make suggestions for improvement of the day-to-day operation on an ongoing basis. The role is expected to do anything and everything that will help the Golf Operations department accomplish its objectives.
GENERAL PURPOSE: In a prompt, efficient, and professional manner this position provides a convenient method for members and guests to obtain food and beverage items while out on the course.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Confirms beverage cart is fully operational before starting rounds on the course.
- Stocks and cleans beverage cart throughout the day.
- Maintains and exhibits knowledge of proper golf course etiquette.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of applicable provincial laws and standard operating procedures provided by the management.
- Ensures guests are attended to in a prompt, efficient, and personalized manner.
- Serves food and beverage items to guests while on the course.
- Responds to customer questions regarding the general information of facility.
- Reviews schedules for changes, calendar of events, and club activities on a daily basis.
- Accountable for all credit card, member account, and cash transactions that may, at times, may be high volume.
- Utilizes Point of Sales system and creates daily sales reports.
- Communicates guest concerns or comments immediately to the Canteen Manager and or Director of Golf.
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Performs other duties as required.
COMPLETION OF SHIFT DUTIES:
- Check with the Proshop to see how many groups are left on course.
- Ensure that the beverage cart is void of all product and garbage. The cart will be washed by the Golf Ops team.
- Return a completed cash out report to the Resort.
- Return radio to charger along with all extra supplies.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Frequently sits, occasionally walks, talks and listens. Frequently lifts up to 25 pounds.
ENVIRONMENT/NOISE: Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions including rain and or warm conditions, exposure to sunlight.
CERTIFICATES/LICENSES: First Aid, Food Safety Course and Responsible Beverage Certificate.
